Terms of Service
These terms apply when you request appliance repair service from Luxury Repair LLC, operating as Wiking Repair, through this website or by phone.
Requesting service
Submitting the form or calling us is a request, not a confirmed appointment. An appointment exists once our coordinator confirms a date and arrival window with you directly. We schedule arrival windows rather than exact times because repair durations vary.
Diagnostic fee and pricing
Our standard diagnostic visit is $95. If you approve the recommended repair during that visit, the $95 fee is removed from your invoice and you pay only for parts and labor. If you decline the repair, the $95 diagnostic fee is due for the technician's time and assessment.
The technician quotes the repair price before starting work. Prices depend on the part required and the labor involved, so we do not publish flat rates for repairs. Additional faults discovered during the repair are quoted separately before any further work.
Current promotional terms are stated on our home page and may be withdrawn or changed at any time before you book.
Cancellation
You may cancel or reschedule at no charge by calling us before the technician is dispatched. If the technician arrives and cannot access the appliance, or nobody over eighteen is present, we may charge the diagnostic fee for the trip.
Access and safety
Please clear a path to the appliance, remove items sitting on or in it where practical, and keep pets in a separate room. Our technician may decline to work where there is an unsafe gas, electrical or water condition, and will tell you what must be corrected first.
Warranty
We warrant parts we supply and the labor we perform. If a part we installed fails due to a defect inside the warranty period, we replace it at no charge for the part or the labor to fit it. The warranty does not cover unrelated faults that appear later, damage from misuse, power surges, pest damage, work performed by others, or parts supplied by you.
Warranty service requires the original invoice and applies at the address where the work was performed.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the repair unless agreed otherwise in writing. Invoices state the parts and labor charged.
Limits
Our responsibility is limited to performing the repair with reasonable skill and care, and to the warranty described above. We are not responsible for indirect losses such as spoiled food, lost earnings or alternative appliance rental, except where the law does not allow that limitation.
Some appliances are beyond economical repair. Where that is our assessment we will say so and charge only the diagnostic fee.

Governing law
